Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Kochi & Transfer to Munnar
  • Arrive at the Kochi airport and be transferred to Munnar.
  • On arrival at Munnar, check-in at the hotel.
  • In the afternoon, visit Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park - open as per the directions by the forest authorities) & Tea Museum.
  • In the evening, a short visit to Munnar town. You can see the beautiful tea estates like a green paradise.
  • Overnight stay at Munnar.
  • After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing.
  • Visit Mattuppetty dam, Echo Point, Kundala Dam, Pothamedu Viewpoint, Blossom Park, etc.
  • Time for shopping.
  • Overnight stay at Munnar.
  • In the morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel.
  • Drive to Thekkady. Thekkady is a world-famous wildlife sanctuary, and it is also called Periyar.
  • On arrival, check in at the hotel.
  • In the afternoon, proceed for a game viewing cruise on Periyar Lake. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar, etc.
  • In the evening you can take an Elephant ride at Periyar wildlife.
  • Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
  • Overnight stay at Thekkady.
  • After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Alleppey.
  • Around 1200 hrs check in at the houseboat and start your cruise through the rich and splendid backwater.

What's Good: Support and availability of staff. Special thanks goes to "Bharti Thakur" Immediate resolution of issues came up during the trip. Crystal clear communication as well as terms and (Read More) conditions. No change in itinerary and surprises affecting my trip plan.
What's Not Good: Lack of communication regarding places to visit from cab driver. Sedan vehicle given to me was bit old. Better if you provide new vehicle for such a long and hilly area trip. Even though, I was checking in late at Amritsar hotel, my room was not cleaned. Very limited options for Breakfast. Everywhere same items for breakfast.

What's Good: End to end tour plan with Hotel , food , travel . Well behaved driver . Due to rains we aere not able to explore sites however we could see alternate sites not affected due to ra (Read More)ins .. All along we got JAIN FOOD . Value for money tour ..
What's Not Good: Hotel in Amritsar could have been bit better however food in the hotel was good.. only no ventilation in Hotel. Also Hotel entry was having stairs which was not suited for is being senior citizen .
