Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Kochi & Transfer to Munnar
  • Arrive at the Kochi airport and be transferred to Munnar.
  • On arrival at Munnar, check-in at the hotel.
  • In the afternoon, visit Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park - open as per the directions by the forest authorities) & Tea Museum.
  • In the evening, a short visit to Munnar town. You can see the beautiful tea estates like a green paradise.
  • Overnight stay at Munnar.
  • After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing.
  • Visit Mattuppetty dam, Echo Point, Kundala Dam, Pothamedu Viewpoint, Blossom Park, etc.
  • Time for shopping.
  • Overnight stay at Munnar.
  • In the morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel.
  • Drive to Thekkady. Thekkady is a world-famous wildlife sanctuary, and it is also called Periyar.
  • On arrival, check in at the hotel.
  • In the afternoon, proceed for a game viewing cruise on Periyar Lake. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar, etc.
  • In the evening you can take an Elephant ride at Periyar wildlife.
  • Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
  • Overnight stay at Thekkady.
  • After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Alleppey.
  • Around 1200 hrs check in at the houseboat and start your cruise through the rich and splendid backwater.
  • Relax at the deluxe houseboat.
  • Cruise along the village sides and paddy fields witnessing the core life of the Kerala villages for the whole day.
  • Overnight stay at the houseboat.
  • After breakfast, check out from the hotel/houseboat and transfer to Kovalam.
  • Kovalam is an evergreen and pleasant climatic beach resort and a dreamland for tourists worldwide.
  • On arrival, check in at the hotel.
  • Relax at the hotel.
  • Overnight stay at Kovalam.
  • After breakfast, proceed to Thiruvananthapuram.
  • Visit the Secretariat, Museum, Mini Zoo, and the famous Padmanabhaswamy Temple (optional).
  • After lunch, head back to Kovalam.
  • In the evening, visit the crescent-shaped beaches of Kovalam, i.e. Samudra Beach, Hawa Beach & Lighthouse Beach.
  • Overnight stay at Kovalam.
  • After breakfast, proceed to Poovar.
  • On arrival in Poovar, check in at the hotel.
  • After freshening up, visit Tirparappu Falls, and the Rock Cut cave of Vinzjhinjam.
  • Go for a boat ride in the afternoon.
  • Later in the evening, take a water taxi to visit Poovar beach and watch a beautiful sunset.
  • Return back to the hotel.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel in Poovar.
  • After breakfast, proceed to Kanyakumari.
  • On arrival in Kanyakumari, check in at the hotel.
  • Later, proceed sightseeing.
  • Visit Padmanabhapuram Palace, Thiruvalluvar Statue, Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Bhagavathy Amman Temple, Gandhi Memorial, Bharat Mata Temple, Kanyakumari Beach, and Sunset View Point.
  • Overnight stay at Kanyakumari.
  • After breakfast, proceed to the airport/railway station to board a flight/train for the onward journey.

Travelled for the first time to udaipur,jodhpur to delhi for a week....and we were given the best of hotels....within our budget...and the driver too was very flexible....with a nice car...simar had b (Read More)een in touch to provide us the best services....and planned our trip very well.thanks to Boutique hotel Viaan....as we reached at 6 am and they made the room available for us within a short time.
