Less than expected from Hilton brand

The location of the hotel is good and close to the attraction at Washington DC. The hotel has very elegant and spacious entrance and lobby. Hotel and rooms are clean.

Staff was not always available to help. There is a bellman available at the lobby but he did not help with any luggage (we had much luggage). The parking is available at the hotel for additional $56 which seemed high compared to other parking garages in the city. They also asked for $22 mandatory fee per day per room for some unexplained fee then they offered back a voucher for $20 in return to get something from the restaurants and cafes at the hotel (as expected this $20 barely gets you anything at the hotel prices). The room was a bit narrow with very small space between the beds and no fridge.

Great location, facilities clean and comfortable, Some staff need customer service training.

Check in, market store, location. Honors members receive a discount card for meals and other charges in stores. Check in did not tell me this. Found out next day as someone was at a stand near check in. So ate breakfast in room that morning but did not get discount.

Main restaurant staff needs better customer service. They need to work as a team. Had to ask 3 times for a waitress/waitor. Finally one just took our order, wasn't their section. Others walked by when we hailed them. Took 10 minutes to get water and coffee. Same with check out. Waited in line, for only one check out person. Others came up and got in line for Hilton Honors Gold & Platiium. I'm a Silver member. they had 2 check in persons for them. When I asked after waiting forever for the one person, they said the other was for Honors members, which I am. I pointed out it said Gold & Platium and was sure those who came after me were not. In fact one person said they weren't even an honors member.
