- No restaurant available H24 - Beach Service very poor - slow and with nothing to serve (no food, no cocco, no drinks) - cleaning room very poor with umidity and sand everywhere - not well organized - cleaning service at the beach very poor a lot of busy sunbed with dirty towel (all day) no cleaning service at the beach (for food trash and towel)

Superb hotel in a beautiful restful part of the island

Incredible staff who do their utmost to make your stay as memorable as possible. Nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is run seemlessly and the place is spotless. We enjoyed a junior ocean view suite which was well furnished with everything you could require and we had a very relaxing stay for our ruby wedding anniversary. Manie organised a very romantic dinner at the gazebo by the pool which was absolutely incredible, plus their photographer was on hand to take a few shots for us. The restaurant staff (Alain) were very kind in assisting with foods suitable for my husband who is a diabetic and Hurvind even took the trouble to bring in Moringo leaves from his own garden to provide a 'tea' to reduce sugar levels which to our surprise actually worked. He then provided us with a vacuum pack to take home. We feel we left having made real friends and would love to return at some stage. The hotel has also recently opened a Japanase restarurant, Kawaii which we thoroughly recommend having lived in Tokyo for a few years. It is an eight or twelve taster dinner which is absolutely delicious. The hotel is situated in a really good area for visiting local attractions by hire car and there is some excellent hiking to he had at the local parks. Do yourself a favour and visit this hotel!

This was our second stay at LUX* Le Morne and we were not disappointed; we intended to visit again.

The staff were very friendly and couldn't do more to make our stay enjoyable. The location is paradise and the sunsets are the best on the island.

The WiFi at the beach could have been better- it tended to drop a lot - but then it encouraged me to not play on my phone so that was a good thing, I suppose.

Perfect location which could benefit from a few final touches

Location and welcome to the property were outstanding along with very friendly wait staff

The bed had an old mattress which made it difficult to sleep (sunken in middle) and staff at check out didnt seem interested in asking about our stay

Simply perfect

Excellent service, staff is so friendly. Most beautiful beach on the island. We had an extrordinary couples massage at the spa center. Rooms and all their facilities are super clean and always smell really nice. Their coffee is just amazing! We organized lots of activities through the hotel (swimming with dolphins, quad bikes, car rental, seaplane) - thanks Justine for organizing these perfectly.

Everything was perfect, the only small issue we had was that the wifi signal was getting lost when we were chilling at the Oasis pool. Nothing critical though. :)

Location only

Staff arent professional enough. They are doing things but just sake of doing it without being switched on. You need to order same thing minimum 3 times to get what you request. They usually dont bring what you need at the restaurant in one time. For every single thing, even for a straw for drink is a drama to get. Food is not the best in general. Couldnt find a proper taste in anything for a 5 star. Only croissants and their burger were good. There is a very intense garlic smell that spreads from the main restaurant to everywhere whole day long including their reception. This smell was the first thing welcomed us as soon as we went out of our cars after valet at the reception entrance. For a simple towel on the beach, we waited minimum 20 mins in the first day, second day nobody even came so we needed to find towels from other sun beds. There are rings to call waiters on the umbrella posts but usually nobody even hears and come to ask what we need. Lets say there are empty cups and some garbage on your small tables, nobody will ever see them and clean by themselves whole day long. Generally the staff is not interested with their job. Rooms are extremely old. There was a sewage smell from the WC. Everywhere in the room there are thousands of ants. They even occupied my luggage. First time I see a 5 star property with 9+ score appeared to be a big disappointment in my booking.com career.

Lovely holiday in a beautiful resort

Location is superb with outstanding views and a wonderful beach on the doorstep. Junior suite was very spacious with lovely outdoor shower and views through to the beachfront. Food was varied and very good quality, staff were very helpful.

Magical.

Entertainment, food and facilities were impeccable. Grounds were beautiful and lots of activities were offered to keep us entertained throughout our stay!

The labelling of the room types. It was confusing what you were opting in for and I don't think we would have gone for the room we paid for had we known where it was situated.
