    Spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable location for touring Galway and Connemara
    Everything. It was a bright, spacious and quiet retreat from city life, yet not far from Galway city. The house was furnished and equipped to a high standard and was spotless. We especially liked the conservatory dining area with views of Galway bay. Siobhan was great to deal with and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were just a couple, but the house could easily accommodate a family or up to 3 couples traveling together. Highly recommend the Uplands.

    Relaxing family break in a great location
    This property is like a home away from home. It is so comfortable, has everything you need and really allows you to relax as it is the perfect house for it! The beds were so comfortable, the couches were amazing and the facilities were top class! You are only a 2 minute drive from Spiddal and a short pleasant coastal drive to Galway city. I cant speak highly enough about the Uplands

    Great property at a great price.
    A great sized property, plenty of space with three big double bedrooms two of which have ensuite, large well stocked kitchen/diner, lovely size lounge with a log burner, utility room with washing machine. beds were very comfortable. A great view of Galway bay.
    Unless you are a walker, you do need a car to get around. it was very cold when we arrived and it took 24hrs to warm the house up. But it was 3 degrees outside and a big house to warm up. It wasnt a problem though.

    Great house , loved the setting
    The house is in a beautiful location, up a narrow lane, so be careful. It's about a twenty minute walk to a lovely beach and a futher 5mins to the village, but the views as you walk are magnificent so you won't notice the distance. The house is very big and you have everything you need. It's one if those properties that you would love to revisit
    The road can be a bit daunting the first time you drive up it, but once you have been up and down a few times irs fine. Rarely met another car

    Lots of space and quiet location
    Good location for Spiddal village. Large house with lots of space for kids.
    Had to clean a lot of the basics, lots missed. The house needs a lot of love to make it more homely.
