Pub food & breakfast was really nice

They have live music on a weekend which goes on until 12am which you can hear from your room so beware if you were planning an early night!

Exceptional

We arrived around 11am. There was no issues for staff to have our room earlier. Room was ready before 12. Restaurant, bar area, fantastic, staff absolutely spot on!! Friendly, helpful and so welcoming that u feel like home. Room was very clean, nice bathroom with large walk in shower. Breakfast, best English breakfast ever, cook to perfection!

Great place.

Very friendly staff. Food is excellent. Both the supper we ordered when we arrived quite late on the Friday night and the breakfast on Saturday morning. Room was comfortable and clean. Perfect.

Bit noisy from the bar below on the Friday night, but we should have considered that. Will definitely be re-booking in the near future.

Very poor

Completely unsatisfactory freezing stay with no hot water

The bar and food in there is really good. The room was nicely furnished however the brand new bedside lamps had a 2 pin plug so could not be used as there was only 3pin sockets

It was freezing no heating at all and the second morning no hot water. Breakfast was a joke. 3 slices of stale bread (1 a crust) 3 slices of chorizo and no yoghurts left at 9am clearly not catered for enough guests. It transpired that the manager knew the boiler was broken but did not contact us before arrival to inform us and give us the Opportunity to cancel. They have ignored my 2 emails complaining and have also ignored a Bookings.com contacting them regarding my complaint. Its a shame as if this was run by a comptant professional this would be a great place to stay but it was completely rudderless. The staff had no idea about the boiler or the lack of hot water. We bought an electric heater to use in the room it was so cold The venue did not offer to provide one!!book here at your peril.

Friendly staff and nice modern looking room

Arrived in evening and didnt realise how bad the bathroom smell was until too late. As only stayed 1 night advised staff on departure. Breakfast included but didnt realise it was continental as only full English on weekends. Fire alarm went off in night but firemen couldnt locate member of staff to report to.
