Poor

Was a disappointing stay at what should have been an amazing stay at a unique hotel full of history.

The beds, location and history of the building

After first evening we discovered cockroaches in the bathroom and the sink was broken and wouldnt drain. Also, both robes hanging in bathroom were stainedwe took pictures of everything, and not sure how to proceed. This was for our 25th anniversary and disappointed to say the least. Also went to bar in hotel and waited ten minutes before bartender that was walking around on her phone asked us what we neededhmmmn. We went to local bar where they were happy to take our generous tip for excellent service. I wont post pics here for future guests to see but will submit if asked by the establishment.

Nice room, decent-ish breakfast. Could have been a bit better in regards to the quality of the food but it's to be expected! Overall, pretty good!

Pipes a bit creaky, but not a big deal. The biggest problem I have is it's been quite some time, and I'm still waiting to get my deposit back.

I like the size of the rooms, I also like the Hotel entrance was very aesthetically pleasing.

Cleanliness not present in Jet Tub ! disappointed. Thete was mold in the corner of ceiling in my bathroom. They also stated that their breakfast is from 8am to 1030 however, by 8:30 am there is no breakfast, because its gone.

My girlfriend and I stayed for a night and it was a wonderful get away.

Very close to the falls and a lot of great restaurants.

The parking was a little weird but other than that I have no complaints

Enjoyable but with problems

Your staff. Exceptional.

Room 604 had a very noisy heater. A water leak developed in the bathroom wall. Toilet flapper needs replacement, refills evert 5 min. Light over coffee bar needs replacement.

Have stayed a few times and always love the quaint ness of the Giacomo

A little disappointed in the breakfast. Not the same as before Covid. There were 4 of us and we never got exactly what we ordered either morning.

Superb

Beautiful art deco hotel, friendly staff, location very close to the Falls

The art deco style of the whole hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room and bath was spacious, as well as the big comfy bed. The location was perfect, very close to the Falls on the US side. 5 min walk. Very tasty breakfast with several warm meals.

The room was cold, you couldn't regulate the temperature. There was nothing going on in the surroundings. Almost every restaurant has closed. We felt pretty much alone.
