The name suits the place..

Ann Christine, Aurelia and Noah are such Lovely hosts and adorable people.. so welcoming to all the guests. Mr Will even lent his car to us during our stay.. we thank you for making our stay comfortable.

A beautiful place. Great staff.

The manager, Thomas, is always happy to help and would spend hours with you giving you all the good plans and adresses in the area. Very nice garden. You quickly feel at home.

Fantastic. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed 3 nights at Shanti Ghar. We felt at home from the moment we were greeted at the gate by Zak. Comfortable, friendly and lots of tips from Zak and Tom that made us feel like locals. The honesty system for the bar a great idea. The continental breakfast was all you needed to get going. They offer dinner a couple of nights a week, home cooked and delicious. Theres a supermarket down the road which is handy. An ideal home base to explore the SW of beautiful Mauritius.

Not a problem with Shanti Ghar but you will need a car to make the most of the visit.

We had an awesome stay at Shanti Ghar, loved the hike up the nearby mountain, and the fabulous staff

The staff were amazing, very friendly and made the stay wonderful. A guest house, not a hotel.

The coffee wasn't to our taste.

Would Definitley come back.

The hosts and managers have great recommendations. They always went out of their way to help. The place is great and the room size is OK.

There were cobwebs, and the dogs barked during the night.

It was the perfect place to start with our Mauritius trip. Zack, the host, gave us the best tips, without him we would never have known about the secret spots on the island. It is quite a magical and relaxing place. The very first evening we had a bonfire and dinner together. And the kids loved the animals. Thanks to the entire and lovely staff, including the two Dutch interns.
