The Kankesanthurai Beach or more popularly known as the KKS is one of the famous beaches of the northern province of the country of Sri Lanka. The beach is one of a kind because unlike other beaches it has had less interaction with visitors and thus pollution of any sorts does not exist here.
Deriving its name from the abundant casuarina trees found along the shore of the beach, the Casuarina beach with its soft golden sand grains and refreshing blue waters is located at about 20 kilometres from Jaffna.
