We had a deeply distressing experience with Global Link Holidays during our Vietnam trip, which was planned as a babymoon, as my wife was 7 weeks pregnant at the time.
We trusted this agency primarily because of the individuals involved. Ms. Alina, who convinced us to book with Global Link Holidays, designed the itinerary and collected payments. Mr. Nitin handled the flight bookings. Based on t (Read More)heir assurances, we proceeded with the trip.
Unfortunately, there were serious coordination failures from the start. Despite requesting a Sunday-to-Sunday itinerary, flight tickets were issued for Friday night without clear reconfirmation. While payment reminders were frequent, there were no reminders or checks before travel, and no one tracked our status when the trip began.
Later, due to incorrect flight guidance shared by the agency in writing (WhatsApp messages), we missed a critical connecting flight. We had clearly raised concerns about the timing mismatch in advance, but were repeatedly assured that the connection would work “as per the new schedule.” Trusting this professional advice in a foreign country, we travelled—only to discover on arrival that the connecting flight had already departed.
At this point, the airline informed us that the next flight to India was after three days, or that we could be rerouted to another Indian city after 24 hours. During this emergency, support from the agency was extremely limited, and we were asked to coordinate with the airline ourselves, despite the tickets being booked by them.
Left helpless in a foreign country with a pregnant traveller, we were forced to pay an additional ₹51,950 for rebooking and later book fresh IndiGo tickets ourselves (approx. ₹49,600) just to return safely.
This experience involved avoidable stress, financial loss, and emotional trauma, with very little accountability or empathy shown at critical moments.
Vietnam is a beautiful destination, but poor travel management can completely ruin the experience. I would strongly caution families, pregnant travellers, and first-time international tourists before booking with this agency.

We take all client feedback seriously and regret that your experience did not meet your expectations. However, it is important for us to clarify (Read More) the facts, as several statements in your reviews are factually incorrect and misleading.
1. Missed Initial Flight (India Departure)
The first missed flight occurred before your international journey began. The confirmed flight tickets, including dates and timings, were shared with you more than one month in advance after mutual discussion and approval.
On the day of departure, the flight was missed because you did not recall that you had a flight scheduled that day. No commitment was ever made by Global Link Holidays for home pickup, airport drop, or departure reminders. Reaching the airport on time is the traveller’s personal responsibility, as clearly understood in standard travel practice.
As the flight was missed due to non-reporting, new tickets had to be purchased, which is an airline rule and not within the agency’s control.
2. Vietnam Tour Pickup (SIC Basis)
One sightseeing tour in Vietnam was booked on SIC (Seat-in-Coach / shared basis), clearly mentioned in the itinerary. For SIC tours:
• Guests must report at the hotel lobby on time
• Drivers can wait a maximum of 10 minutes (extended to ~20 minutes as goodwill)
Unfortunately, the pickup was missed because you did not come down from the hotel on time. Despite this being entirely outside our responsibility, we re-arranged the tour on a private basis at our own cost, resulting in a financial loss to the company — purely to ensure your comfort.
3. Return Flight Reschedule (Vietnam → India)
The final issue occurred due to multiple schedule changes by VietJet, an airline operational matter beyond any travel agent’s control.
• Original timing: ~2:00 PM
• Revised to: 3:25 PM
• Further revised to: 6:40 PM
• Final arrival at Ho Chi Minh: ~9:00 PM
All schedule changes were promptly communicated to you in writing. Due to the airline’s delays, the connecting flight had already departed. This is a classic airline misconnection scenario, and responsibility lies solely with the airline.
Despite this, our team continued to assist remotely, even though airline disruption handling must be done directly with the carrier as per international aviation rules.
4. Allegation of “No Support”
At no point was assistance denied. However, it must be clearly stated that:
• Airlines control schedules, delays, and re-accommodation
• Travel agencies cannot override airline operations
• Emergency airline rebookings often require passengers to coordinate directly with the airline desk on-ground
5. Support Provided Despite Late Hours
Despite it being around 9:00 PM, our team continued assisting you remotely.
Our staff spoke twice with airport officials to explore alternatives and support you.
Unfortunately, during this time, our staff were shouted at and verbally abused, even while actively trying to help — a fact that reflects poorly on conduct, not service.
6. On Accountability & Fairness
Global Link Holidays handles hundreds of international travellers every year, including expecting parents, families, senior citizens, and first-time travellers. One-sided narratives that omit traveller errors and airline responsibility do not present the full picture.
We empathise with the stress caused, especially considering pregnancy, but it is unfair and inaccurate to attribute airline delays, missed reporting, or SIC pickup rules to agency negligence.
We stand by our service delivery, documentation, and communication, all of which are supported by written records.
