Detailed Itinerary
Upon arrival at NJP/Bagdogra, our representative will greet you and drive you to Gangtok (1,437 m). Check in to your hotel, freshen up, and relax. In the evening, take a leisurely stroll along MG Marg. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After a relaxed breakfast, depart at around 8 AM for Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft/3,750 m, approx. 3-hour drive) and Baba Harbhajan Mandir (13,200 ft/4,000 m). The drive offers stunning mountain views. Tsomgo Lake, a sacred high-altitude lake, changes hues with the seasons. Baba Harbhajan Mandir honors an Indian soldier who perished in extreme conditions near Nathula Pass. After the excursion, return to Gangtok. Overnight stay at the hotel. (Nathula Pass visit is optional at an additional cost of ₹5,500.)
Post breakfast, drive to Lachung (8,800 ft), a picturesque village surrounded by snow-capped peaks, waterfalls, and orchards. En route, stop at Singhik View Point for panoramic views of Mount Siniolchu and the Seven Sisters Waterfall. Enjoy lunch at Namok and a tea break at Chungthang. Upon arrival in Lachung, check in to your hotel. Relax and explore Lachung Gompa or visit the handicraft center for souvenirs. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Early in the morning, visit Yumthang Valley (11,800 ft), known as the "Valley of Flowers," with its lush greenery and vibrant flowers. A serene river flows through the valley, with yaks and goats grazing nearby. After lunch, drive back to Gangtok, stopping at Bheema and Twin Waterfalls along the way. Overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.
After breakfast, head to Pelling via Namchi. En route, enjoy a sightseeing tour covering Samdruptse, Char Dham, and Sai Mandir. Upon arrival in Pelling, check in to your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Pelling.
Post breakfast, explore the attractions of Pelling, including the Kanchenjunga Waterfalls, Sewaro Rock Garden, Darap Valley, Pema Yangtse Monastery, Helipad Ground, Rimbi Waterfalls, Khecheopalri Lake, and Rabdentse Ruins. Later, transfer to Darjeeling. Overnight stay at the hotel in Darjeeling.
Start early (around 4 AM) for Tiger Hill (2,590 m) to witness the sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga. On the way back, visit Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery. After breakfast, continue your tour with visits to the Japanese Temple, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing Rock, Peace Pagoda, and Chitrey Tea Garden. In the evening, enjoy a walk along Mall Road and Chowrasta. Overnight stay at the hotel.
