Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport – Transfer to Darjeeling
(Approx. 90 kms / 3 hours drive)
Welcome to your Gangtok and Darjeeling Special tour!
Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to Darjeeling. After check-in at your hotel, the rest of the day is free for leisure.
Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
After breakfast, proceed for a city tour of Darjeeling, covering the following attractions:
  • Himalayan Mountaineering Institute
  • P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays)
  • Tenzing Rock
  • Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sundays)
  • Tea Garden (outer view)
  • Peace Pagoda
  • Japanese Temple
  • Ropeway (tickets at guests' own expense)
  • Ghoom Monastery
  • Batasia Loop
  • Tiger Hill (sunset point over Mt. Kanchenjunga)

In the evening, you can enjoy shopping at your own expense.
Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Note: Guests interested in visiting Tiger Hill at sunrise will need to confirm permits and pay additional costs.

After breakfast, drive to Gangtok. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel. The afternoon is free for leisure, and you can explore M.G. Marg at your own expense.
Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Start your day with a half-day trip to:
  • Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft): A sacred lake 32 kms from Gangtok. The lake is approximately 1 km long and 15 meters deep.
  • Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir (New Baba Mandir): Situated 12 kms further from the lake.
Return to your hotel in the afternoon.
Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Optional: Nathula Pass visit (additional charges and permits apply).

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey. The morning is free for packing and personal activities.
