Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport – Gangtok (120 kms / 5 hrs)

Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport & transfer to Gangtok 
(5,500 ft.). On arrival Check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay 
at Gangtok. 

  • After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir 
    (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms one way from Gangtok city.
  • Overnight stay at Gangtok. 
    (In case of Land slide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provided 
    alternate sightseeing.)
  • After breakfast take transfer to Darjeeling .On arrival Check into Hotel. After that you can have you own leisure day by going to Mall road , Chowrasta which is the historical heart and main public square of Darjeeling,
  • This pedestrian zone is a vibrant social and commercial hub where four roads meet, offering beautiful views 
    of the Kanchenjungha, small shops selling local wares like tea and handicrafts, heritage restaurants, and cultural activities .
  • Overnight stay at Darjeeling. 
  • Early Morning (at 04:00 am) drive to Tiger hill (8,400 ft.) to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop.
  • After breakfast visit Himalayan mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view) and Japanese Temple. Evening free for shopping or leisure.
  • Overnight stay at Darjeeling. 

After breakfast at the hotel and drive to BagdograAirport/NJP Railway Station in time for flight/train to onward destination with alot of memories.

  • 30-15 days before departure: 30% of the tour cost will get charged as the cancellation
  • 14-07 days prior to departure: 60% of the tour cost will get charged as the cancellation

When I was given a tour enquiry to the DreamFly, I received a call from DreamFly, a woman voice so gently and motherly tone i.e Mamatha Madam. Fascinated by the way of approach of Mamatha Sister (because I am a Senior Citizen) I have confirmed our family tour with DreamFly as the tour cost has been chalked out so cost concept manner. Mamatha Sister is oftenly asked about problems when we were travelling and suggesting and arranging for better way out for our journey.
