Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Guwahati (GAU) Airport / Railway Station - Cherrapunjee

Meet and greet upon arrival.
Drive to Cherrapunjee.
Visit Barapani Lake (Umiam Lake) en route.
Visit Elephant Falls.
Arrive in Cherrapunjee and check in to the hotel.
Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.
Guests are requested to book early arrival flights.
Sightseeing is possible only for morning arrivals.
Most waterfalls dry up in winter.

Day 2 Cherrapunjee - Double Deckar - Cherrapunjee

Have breakfast at the hotel.
Trek to Double Decker Living Root Bridge.
The trek takes approximately 3 to 4 hours from the starting point, depending on fitness levels.
The trek distance is around 4 km each way with an elevation drop of approximately 1000 feet.
The path includes steep steps, jungle trails, and moss-covered sandstone steps, which may be slippery in monsoon.
Return to the starting point and spend the evening at leisure.
Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.
Assistance of a local guide is mandatory and included in the package.
Carry packed lunch.

Alternative Option: Cherrapunjee Local Sightseeing

Have breakfast at the hotel.
Visit Arwah Cave or Mawsmai Cave.
Visit Seven Sisters Falls.
Visit Nohkalikai Falls.
Return to the hotel.
Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee.

Day 3 Cherrapunjee – Mawlynnong – Dawki – Shillong

Have breakfast at the hotel.
Drive to Mawlynnong, Asia’s Cleanest Village.
Visit the Living Root Bridge.
See the balancing rock formation.
Drive to Dawki and visit the India-Bangladesh border.
Drive to Shillong and check in to the hotel.
Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 4 Shillong- Excursion to Mwaphlang - Shillong Local sightseeing

Have breakfast at the hotel.
Visit Mawphlang Sacred Forest.
Visit Elephant Falls.
Visit Ward Lake.
Visit Don Bosco Museum.
Visit Lady Hydari Park.
Visit Cathedral Catholic Church.
If time permits, visit Police Bazaar (on your own).

Day 5 Shillong – Guwahati Airport (GAU) / Railway Station for onward connection

Transfer to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station.

Other Details

Rates valid for Indian nationals only.
Carry six passport-sized photographs per traveler, with name, age, and gender mentioned at the back.
Carry original and photocopies of a valid photo ID (Passport, Election ID, Driving License, or any Central/State Government-issued document with photo, name, and address).
Aadhar Card and PAN Card are not accepted as valid ID proof for Sikkim Restricted Area Permit (RAP).
Children below 18 years without a passport must carry their school or college ID.
Carry an original and photocopy of the birth certificate for minors (in English).
Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) must carry their passport, as OCI/PIO cards alone are not considered valid proof.
Any amendment to a booked tour is treated as a cancellation.
Minor amendments can be made with an amendment fee of INR 5000 plus actual costs incurred.
40% of the total package cost must be paid in advance to confirm the booking.
30% must be paid after receiving the confirmation voucher.
The remaining balance must be paid upon arrival.
Payments made via credit card incur a 3% surcharge.
Guests must share arrival details (train or flight number) to ensure smooth planning.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requests must be sent via email or fax.
40% of the total tour cost will be charged for cancellations from the date of booking.
60% of the total tour cost will be charged for cancellations made 30 to 15 days before departure.
100% of the total tour cost will be charged for cancellations made within 14 days of departure.
No refunds will be provided for cancellations due to unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions.
Alternative feasible activities may be provided if possible, but refunds will not be offered.
The final cancellation amount will be determined by us based on the nature of the booking.
Full payment may be required for peak season bookings (Christmas, New Year, festivals), and these payments are non-refundable.

Nine nights and ten days tour was organised by Ask adventure tours for we the 65 years plus senior citizen couple. We covered three nights at Gangtok, two nights at Peling, four nights at Darjeeling and one night at Kalimpong. We also covered Mirik day tour from Darjeeling. Even we enjoyed steam joy ride train at Darjeeling. From Gangtok we Even enjoyed Natu la pass. Beautiful itinerary was made, (Read More)organised and facilitated. Followup by tour operator was good. Hotel accommodation was also good and comfortable

Did not provide vehicle as promised but charged for the same extra for Nathula pass which caused lot of discomfort to us since all 4 of us are senior citizens . On other days vehicles provided were in good condition and no issue with them

Please do not use this company. They are very careless and their cab service is terrible. The drivers are very very irresponsible. They will never reach in time. They will leave you in remote location (Read More)s without any pickup arrangements. If you are traveling with children or senior citizens, then please do not use Ask Adventure. It will be.a big mistake and you will regret it.
