Day 1 Arrival at Bagdogra Airport (IXB)/Railway Station (NJP) & Transfer to Gangtok

  • Enjoy a scenic drive to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim.
  • Check in to your hotel and relax after your journey.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.
  • Have breakfast and embark on a thrilling excursion to Tsomgo Lake, located 38 km from Gangtok at an altitude of 12,400 ft.
  • Witness the beauty of the glacial lake, which transforms with the changing seasons.
  • Visit Baba Mandir, located at an altitude of 13,123 ft, and learn the legend of Baba Harbhajan Singh.
  • Optional: Visit Nathula Pass (on an additional cost of ₹4,000, subject to availability and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays).
  • Return to Gangtok in the evening and enjoy leisure time.

Everything was smooth and hassle free. The itinerary, hotel arrangements, drivers, food, and overall coordination were handled perfectly. The planning was well balanced, making our journey comfortable and enjoyable. Hotels we stayed at were Aurora Gangtok in Gangtok, which was a good stay overall with only minor internet connectivity issues. In Lachung, we stayed at Rufina Lachung Kunga, which was good and comfortable. In Darjeeling, we stayed at Aurora Grand Darjeeling, which was a pleasant stay.
