Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport - Gangtok (128 Kms. / 5 Hrs)
Meet and Greet on arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra International Airport and transfer to Gangtok (5,500 Ft.). On arrival, check in to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 2 Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir (53 Kms. / 3 Hrs. one-way)
After breakfast, start for an excursion to:
- Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft / 37 Kms / 2 Hrs from Gangtok): A picturesque glacial lake, deriving its water from the melting snow of the surrounding mountains.
- Baba Mandir (13,200 ft / 16 Kms / 1 Hr from Tsomgo Lake): A memorial dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, known for its serene environment and touching story.
- Required Documents for Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir: Two passport-sized photographs
- Photocopy of Photo ID Proof (Passport, Driving License, or Voter ID; Aadhaar & PAN Cards are NOT accepted)
- For children below 18 years: Birth Certificate or School/College ID (Original documents must be carried).
- In case of landslides or other reasons, alternate sightseeing will be provided.
Day 3 Gangtok - Lachen (120 Kms. / 6 Hrs.)
After breakfast, leave the hotel with limited luggage and proceed to Lachen (8,980 ft). En route, visit:

Day 4 Lachen - Gurudongmar Lake - Lachung (185 Kms. / 10 Hrs.)
After an early breakfast, proceed to Gurudongmar Lake (17,100 ft), one of the world’s highest lakes.
- En route, visit Thangu Valley (12,795 ft).
- Return to the hotel for lunch in Lachen.
- After lunch, check out and proceed to Lachung (8,738 ft).
Day 5 Lachung - Yumthang Valley - Gangtok (161 Kms. / 9 Hrs.)
Early morning, drive to:
- Yumthang Valley (12,000 ft / 26 Kms / 1.5 Hrs one way): Known as the "Valley of Flowers," it is a summer grazing ground for yaks and offers breathtaking views of rhododendrons during spring.
- On the way back, visit the Hot Spring, which is believed to have medicinal properties.
- Return to the hotel for lunch and proceed to Gangtok.
- Stop at Singhik View Point (if weather permits) to glimpse Mt. Khangchendzonga.
Day 6 Gangtok - NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport (128 Kms. / 5 Hrs.)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) or Bagdogra International Airport (IXB) for your onward journey.

The trip was very well organized and offered great value for money. Anuradha Ma' (Read More)am provided a reasonable package and managed everything professionally. Our driver-cum-guide Chandan was excellent, friendly, punctual, and guided us throughout the trip. The sightseeing, transportation, and overall experience in Sikkim, Gangtok, and Darjeeling were wonderful.
Hotel selection could be improved, as online ratings are not always reliable and (Read More) may sometimes be misleading. Verifying hotels based on actual recent guest experiences would help ensure a more comfortable stay. Other than that, the trip was well planned and enjoyable.

He is a polite, friendly, and highly helpful person who ensured that every aspect of our trip was well organized.
The travel arrangements were excellent. We were provided with a comfortable and well-maintained cab for the entire tour. Our driver and tour captain, Tara, was a true gentleman. He was courteous, punctual, and extremely knowledgeable about all the sightseeing locations. His guidance and support throughout the journey made our experience even more enjoyable and stress-free.
