Orchidarium, Yercaud Overview

Spread over 18 hectares of land area, National Orchidarium also called the Orchidarium, is situated in Yercaud and was established in the year 1963. Boasting of around 3000 trees and 1800 shrubs, it is one of the most popular tourist spots in the area.

It is also known as Orchidarium, it has a huge and diverse collection of orchids. Other than several other species of exotic and rare plants, it is also home to the rare Kurinji flower that blooms once in every twelve years. The garden has been divided into several sections, some of which are bonsai garden, foliage garden, topiary garden, rock garden, water garden, herbal garden, sensory garden and more.
