Janki Chatti can only be visited in the period from April till October when the snow has cleared the roads that lead to the town and the temperatures are bearable. Being a high altitude location Janki Chatti is cold at all times of the year and visitors are required to wear multiple layers of woolen.

  • Road: Janki Chatti is now connected by motorable roads till Hanuman Chatti. Buses can ply only till Barkot from where one can easily get shared jeep for Janki Chatti or else get down at Hanuman Chatti and trek the 7 km to Janki Chatti.
