At an altitude of 6000 ft, Yangtey is a small village and an instance of paradise by monsoons, lying very close to the town of Pelling in Sikkim, famous for the amazing views of Mt. Air: The Bagdogra Airport is the nearest airport to Yangtey. It is 124 kms away from Geyzing. You will have to take a taxi from the airport to reach Geyzing and then another taxi from Geyzing to visit Yangtey.
Rail: The nearest railway station is New Jalpaiguri Railway Station which is 140 kms away.Ã«_From there, taxis are available to get to Yangtey.
Road: Yangtey is at a distance of 2 kms from Geyzing, therefore if you are traveling from Gangtok, you can hire a bus and get down at Geyzing and then take a taxi from there to reach Yangtey.
