Adha and Rukha Villages, Wangdue Phodrang Overview
Adha and Rukha Villages are located to the South of Wangdue town, below Wangdue Phodrang Dzong. It is a beautiful place to get an insight into a Bhutanese farmers life, where one could camp in a tent or better, opt for a homestay at a farmer's house. The farmers are warm and friendly and are happy to engage the visitor in daily activities and in reciting old tales and lores. It is advisable not to visit in the Summer months due to the presence of mosquitoes, leeches and other insects.
