History of Periyar Park

Periyar Park was opened for public access on October 20, 2010. It was launched by M.K Stalin, who held the position of Deputy Cm at the time. The park is managed and financially supported by the Department of Tourism of India, which ensures that facilities provided are top-notch at all times. Renovations are made regularly as required.
