The Na-Pukhuri is the biggest attraction of the town. This is a group of nine lakes on the periphery of the town. It is a historical monument built during the period of King Sarbananda Singha.
The central tank is the most popular out of all. It covers over 10 acres and is filled with natural water. Due to its area and method of filling, it is also called a Lake. It has been developed as a tourist attraction. A 400 m long tiled pathway and 1200 m of pucca jogging pathway has been constructed along with placement of a number of playing equipment. This park also has a triple cascade fountain in its central area.
