Da Parbatia, Tezpur Overview

An archaeologically significant area, Da Parbatia is a village near the west of Tezpur that is home to remnants of a temple from the 6th century AD. These ancient remnants also overline the ruins of a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva built during the Ahom period. The Archaeological Survey of India is responsible for the maintenance of these ruins and also carries out further excavation and discovery when possible.
