Tarapith is a religious place ideal for people who are looking for a one day trip. Thriving with tourists, this place is dotted with several hotels and guest houses. The hotels are cost effective and (Read More) provide a comfortable place of stay as well as good food. We were also provided with mosquito repellent liquid vaporizers to keep away any mosquitoes. You will be required to deposit your wallets, cellphones and shoes at specific places outside the temple, so I will advise you not to carry much money with you. Since the temple remains extremely crowded throughout the day, make sure to keep your belongings safe.
