Sapporo Beer Museum, Sapporo Overview
Japan's only beer museum, in an 1890 brick malt house, and entry is free, which surprises people. The guided tour costs a thousand yen and is in Japanese only. The real draw is next door: the beer garden serves Genghis Khan, grilled mutton at your table, which is also one of the few Hokkaido specialities that is neither seafood nor pork.
