Pine Mountain Lake, San Francisco Overview

Originally created in 1969 by Boise Cascade Corporation, Pine Mountain Lake is a spring-fed lake and a private housing community. Now maintained by PML Homeowner’s Association, the 110 feet deep lake is stretched over 210 acres with 6 miles of shoreline. The community is equipped with a golf course, Lake Lodge, tennis court, hiking and walking trails, equestrian centre, swimming pool, fishing spot, campgrounds, an airport, country club restaurant and lounge, and grocery and medical stores.

The 6,382 yard Pine Mountain Lake Golf Course is an 18-hole championship course brilliantly designed by William F. Bell. The course opened in 1969 and organizes public play and tournaments, as well as offers golf lessons, club rentals, club storage, golf carts, and pull carts. Boat registration, launching, docking, boat rentals, water-ski sign-ups, fishing licenses, beach security and gas dock are all controlled from the Marina Store. The Pine Mountain Lake Green Belt Hiking Trail, a 1.5 mile loop, is in units 3 & 4 and the trailhead starts at Fisherman’s Cove on Rock Canyon Way in Unit 3. The swimming pool on the Mueller Drive provides swim lessons, aqua exercise classes, ping pong, pool socials, snack bar and pool store. Nearby is the “The Grill” - the famous country club restaurant which also specializes in organising parties, comedy nights, musical nights and dance nights. The campground includes 23 campsites, 10 RV hook-up sites, cooking fireplaces, picnic benches, and restrooms.
