Tueeulala Falls, San Francisco Overview

Tueeulala Fall resides in Yosemite National Park near Groveland in Tuolumne County, California. Yosemite National Park’s Hetch Hetchy Valley, situated in its north-western part, contains a set of resplendent waterfalls- Tueeulala Falls and Wapama Falls. It derives its name from the Miwok community of Native Americans who inhabited in the Yosemite Valley leading a hunting-gathering lifestyle.

With a height of 850 feet, Tueeulala Falls can be reached from the Big Oak Flat entrance station leading to Evergreen Road which pave towards Camp Mather and farther to the parking lot of the O’Shaughnessey Dam. For closer views, cross the dam and head towards the tunnel near the cliff, continue hiking through the junction until a wood wooden footbridge comes. The Valley adorns a diverse array of wildlife and vegetation including Native rainbow trout, mule deer, black bears, bighorn sheep and California Black Oak, Incense-Cedar, Pines, Douglas fir, Manzanitas and wildflowers.
