Rethymno beach is a 13 km long beach located on the northern coastline of Rethymnon. It is famous for its crystal clear turquoise waters turning a deeper blue further from the shore. The beach is well organised with all the basic facilities. It is a popular hub for watersports such as jet skiing, parasailing, speed boating, flyboarding, kite surfing, and banana boating.
It is a popular snorkelling beach for kids and adults alike because of its deep and shallow water spots. Several resorts, restaurants, taverns, and beach clubs are on a promenade path right along the beach. The Biotopoi Nature Park and the Old Town Venetian Harbour are nearby attractions.
