Cruise Tasik, Putrajaya Overview

Cruise Tasik is one of the most prominent attractions in Putrajaya for sightseeing and to escape the city’s rush by sailing the cruise around Malaysia’s famous man made Putrajaya Lake. Since 2003, Cruise Tasik is the only cruise service in Putrajaya offering beautiful scenic views of more than 20 Putrajaya attractions and lake rides. Sail through their AC cruises and Perahu boats with various packages booked near the Putrajaya Café or from various resorts nearby. You can also get a romantic getaway with the love boats and romantic dinner packages on the cruise.

Types of Cruises

Day Cruise: Day Cruise at Cruise Tasik offers a ride for exploring around Putrajaya Lake and works the entire day at different timings.

Cost: RM 50 for adults and RM 35 for children
Timings: 1:00 PM, 2:15 PM, 3:30 PM, 4: 45 PM, 6:00 PM and 7:15 PM

Early Bird Cruise: Enjoy the morning scenic view in the Early Bird Cruise around the stunning man-made lake.

Cost: RM 25 for adults and RM 18 for children
Timings: Starts from 10:00 AM for 30 minutes

Private Charter: Private Charter can be hired for a personal ride with friends and families. You can either opt for Kelah and Sebarau (double decker) or Daun and Belimbing (single decker) AC cruise to take a tour around Putrajaya Lake.

Cost: Kelah and Sebarau: RM 3000 for 1st hour and then RM 1800 for every subsequent hour
Daun and Belimbing: RM 2000 for 1st hour and RM 1200 for every subsequent hour

Perahu Sightseeing

Perahu ride at Cruise Tasik is basically a ride in the Dondang Sayang traditional boat of Malaysia. You can either travel in a group of 15 on Perahu sightseeing tour, choose a private charter or a love boat for a wonderful sightseeing experience.

Perahu Sightseeing: Take a 20-25 minutes ride from Putra Mosque towards Taman Botani to look at the city from Putrajaya Lake sitting in a traditional boat. Fee:- RM 40 for adult and RM 26 for child
Private Charter: If you want a personal ride without the group, take a private boat for Perahu Sightseeing tour. A private charter costs RM 200 accommodating a maximum 6 people in a single ride.
Love Boat:-Love boat in Cruise Tasik is opted for a romantic getaway on the traditional boat with the dinner and drinks. The love boat charges around 250 for an hour per couple on weekdays and RM 350 on weekends.

Dinning at Cruise Tasik

If you are planning to try out traditional Malaysian buffet along with a beautiful scenic view of the Putrajaya Lake, then Dining at Cruise Tasik is a perfect option for you. The Dining at Cruise Tasik offers stuffed squid, tender beef etc. in two packages, one Cruise Dine @ Daun and the other Cruise Dine @ Sebarau/Kelah

Cruise Dine @ Daun: Fine Dining, luxury cruise boat and 5-star food is what defines Daun dining. With the motto of ‘Dining Experience with a difference’, Cruise Dine @ Daun can give you a mindblowing dining experience in RM 150 for adults and RM 108 for Children. Maximum 15 passengers are equipped in Daun at once.
Cruise Dine @ Sebarau/Kelah: Sebarau and Kelah is a double Decker cruise which also offers the best dining experience starting from RM 150 to 170 for adults. Sebarau/ Kelah can equip 30 passengers max. at one go.
Reservation should be done 7 days prior to the visit.

How to Reach Putrajaya Lake

Train: Take a train from Kuala Lumpur to reach KL Central Station from KLIA express train service. You can take a taxi to Putrajaya Lake for a drive thereafter.

Bus: Opt for E1 bus from Pasar Seni LRT station or a rapid bus to Putrajaya. A taxi or cab is available for the lake from the bus stations.

Taxi/Car: Putrajaya Lake is 4 km away from the centre of the city, hence the most convenient way to reach is taking a taxi.
