You really want me to share my view on this miserable park? OK its a place which is not even worth one visit. The place is run by a fraud. I doubt whether this park is open or not. The park is defunc (Read More)t since 2019 or maybe earlier. So don't ruin your outing.

It was quite stuffy inside the temple with people pushing each other to catc (Read More)h a glimpse of the Lord located in the main internal compartment of the temple. I listened to each of the incredible stories narrated by my tour guide with childish awe. Next, my trip comprised racing along the sands of the beautiful beach. The beach is sprawled by a number of shops selling a variety of local items made of seashells and pearls.Puri also has many restaurants serving tasty Bengali dishes.

Please reply that when the Door of Sri Jagan Nath Temple are closed for Darshan in June 2019, as we are interested for Darshan between 24th June 2019 till 28th June 2019. Is it possible ?

- It is advisable to avoid street food sold near the Puri Beach, avoid the local hospitals and go to Bhubaneshwar in case of a medical emergency. The pandas in the temples will try to get as much mon (Read More)ey out of you as possible, so keep some change handy so that you can avoid them without creating a scene. Stay away from monkeys and don't lure them with food.

Sri Jagannath Puri temple is a pious place were every year thousands of devotees come to pray. I was astonished by the grandeur of this holy place. The line of the devote is long but worth the wait. (Read More)I saw a lot of playful monkeys jumping in and around the temple. They are quite a sight to see. The temple serves a delicious Prasad of rice and dal.

Before setting out for Puri, make sure to pack several cotton clothes, since it is an extremely humid place. Carry sunscreen and umbrellas to save yourself from painful sunburns. I would suggest you (Read More)to go to the beach near Panthnivas if you are looking for some peace and calm. This part of the beach is less crowded and very good for photography and privacy. Try getting a guest house or a hotel near the beach since you will need to walk back to your accommodation in wet clothes after taking a dip in the sea, so the nearer the guesthouse or hotel is to the beach, the better.
