Cao Dai Temple, Phu Quoc Island Overview
A small Cao Dai temple in Duong Dong, serving the island's community of the faith, which blends Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism and Catholicism and takes the all-seeing eye as its symbol. It is a modest local place of worship rather than anything on the scale of the Tay Ninh Holy See, so go for the colour and the detail rather than the size.
Inside the temple, visitors will find a blend of religious symbols from multiple faiths, representing the diverse spiritual influences within Cao Dai. The main altar often features a Divine Eye, the symbol of Cao Dai, surrounded by other religious symbols. Followers of Cao Dai gather at the temple to participate in prayer ceremonies, rituals, and meditative practices. Steps lead up to the Cao Dai Temple, and behind it is the Duong Dong Temple. The temple complex also has a small shrine.
