Pulga, Parvati Valley Overview

Pulga is a village located in Parvati Valley, 3 km from Barshaini. Pulga is known for its scenic beauty and wooden homestays, located amidst denser deodar trees, waterfalls, and apple orchards. A paradise for nature lovers, Pulga is one of three small villages close to Barshainialong with Kalga and Tulga and is located at an altitude of 2,210m above sea level.

Though it isn’t heavily populated, the dense deodar forest, known as Fairy Forest, views the majestic snow-clad Himalayan ranges and the lush green Parvati Valley as well as the waterfalls and wooden bridges make for an unbelievably arresting sight. Accessible only on foot, Pulga is known for its traditional wooden houses and visitors often get to engage with locals. It also has several guesthouses and cafes.
