Snorkelling in Paros

Paros is home to many beaches with clear and calm waters, so it is ideal for snorkelling. Most of the beaches in Paros, i.e., the Kolymbithres beach, Santa Maria beach, Golden beach or Marchello beach, have facilities for renting snorkelling equipment. The beach water is not too cold. Another popular spot for snorkelling is the secluded island of Antiparos, which has magnificent underwater rock formations and marine life.

You can spot rare marine animals like bottlenose dolphins, false killer whales, sperm whales and Mediterranean monk seals if you are lucky. You can also snorkel and explore the wreck of Patris which has been preserved underwater since 1868.
