WWII Memorial Bridge, Pai Overview

A bridge built by the Japanese to transport weapons to Burma.

This bridge was built in 1942 during the World War II by the Japanese to transport weapons and other war provisions to Burma. It has become an intersting tourist attraction of Pai. The Japanese were said to force POWs to construct this bridge. It has a strong steel frame, but the floor is wooden you need to be a little careful while walking.
