Place Garibaldi is one of the largest squares of Nice. Garibaldi Square is a prominent landmark on the northern edge of the Vieux-Nice district. One can enjoy a variety of eateries and cafes here that are spread throughout all the corners. You can quickly get to the square from Nice's Old Town or Old Port, thanks to the T1 and T2 trams.
Presently, it is the second-most significant urban square in the city, following Place Massena. The grand square was initially a military parade ground. The Garibaldi monument is in the centre of the square and encircled by a 17-meter-square fountain. This Square in Nice is one of the city's notable landmarks. From here, you can walk to several exciting locations like the Museum of Modern & Contemporary Art.
