Designed by “the much-revered architects”, Foster+ Partners, the iconic building also hosts over 10,000 workshops and music classes for people of all age groups across the globe.

Must Know Before You Visit Sage Gateshead

Other Important Objective Information :
1. It has 270 spaces including designated spaces for motorbikes and the disabled. NE82BA is the postcode to the parking area; different from that of the venue. 
2. The facility has machines accepting chip and PIN cards, and cash. Contactless payments are not yet available.
3. An extra GBP 20 needs to be paid in case of loss of the ticket.
4. The musical centre is on a hill so the last leg of your journey will be uphill unless you walk across the Tyne or High-Level Bridge. 
5. Anyone with a performance ticket at the Sage Gateshead can hop on from any metro station to the Gateshead stop absolutely free! Free travel is available 2 hours before and after the performance. 
6. For deaf or disabled who have an access requirement, joining the Access Requirement Register allows for a much smoother experience and also permits you to bring along a Personal Assistant for free.
