Nantucket Travel Guide

Located to the south of Cape Cod, Nantucket is a small touristy island and a part of Massachusetts. The island is accessible through a ferry boat or via an aeroplane and has some chic boutique hotels and cafés to cater the visitors. This town was a whaling hub in the 19th century, and the scene is still alive. Adding to its charm are the three lighthouses that guard the beachline, which in itself is a fun place to be. Nantucket has a lively art scene, both performing and visual, and the best of it can be witnessed during festivals like the wine and food festival, cranberry festival, daffodil festival, book festival, and many more. To give a better picture of the art scene, it is worth mentioning that Frank Swift Chase and Theodore Robinson have lived on the island.
