Nagarkot to Changu Narayan Hike, Nagarkot Overview
The path from Nagarkot down to Changu Narayan drops about eight hundred metres over four hours, through pine and terraced fields and a string of Tamang villages, and it ends at the oldest temple still standing in the Kathmandu Valley. Most people walk it downhill from Nagarkot and take a jeep back from Changu. It is the one hike here that finishes at something rather than at a viewpoint.
