Datca Peninsula, Marmaris Overview

The Datca Peninsula is an 80-kilometre-long peninsula situated in southern Turkey near the Greek islands. It is also known as Resadiye Peninsula and is the home to rustic towns, mighty hills, in-mint condition beaches and olive groves. The entire peninsula is a scenic experience.

There are beautiful vineyards and wineries to visit and restaurants that must be tried, like Elaki and Kardelen Pide Kebap Salonu. Famous tourist attractions on the peninsula are Eski Datca (the region’s earliest settlement), Datca Town Bazaar, Knidos and Symi— a Greek island just fifty minutes away by boat.
