Green Jungle Park Luang Prabang, Luang Prabang Overview

Green Jungle Park is an adventure park located close to the city of Luang Prabang in Laos. The park is situated amidst deeply forested mountains and is home to beautiful waterfalls, flower gardens and tall trees. It is one of the worth-visiting attractions for tourists visiting Luang Prabang where they can enjoy ziplining, kayaking, rope walking, swimming and trekking in the pine forests. Travelers can easily spend half a day or more, enjoying these adventurous activities.

The park was opened in 2015 which was earlier a dump location outside the city. All these activities can be purchased upon arriving at the park. There are pools, and there is an elephant centre, which houses the ageing and rescued elephants. There is also an organic restaurant and a cafe in the park.

Tips

There are no ATMs near the park. Carry sufficient cash for entry fees, additional tickets for activities and dining.

Carry swimsuit if you are going to swim, and good shoes for hiking and cycling.

How To Reach Green Jungle Park Luang Prabang

Green Jungle Park is located about 32km from Luang Prabang. You need to cross the river to reach. The best way to get there is to take a boat trip that starts from the pier behind the Royal Palace in Luang Prabang. It takes about 30 minutes for the boat ride. And for the rest of the journey, you can rent a tuk-tuk for about 4 USD per person for a one-way trip that can be shared. You can also get there by taxi, which would cost 8 USD per person and lesser if shared for a roundtrip.
