Pine Forest, Kodaikanal Overview

Situated in the southwest of Kodaikanal, Pine Forest is one of the most famous tourist spots in the city. Situated on the road near the Solar Observatory, the pine forest is crowded with tourists flocking here to enjoy the place. There are also numerous local vendors selling fresh carrots and fruits who can be spotted right at the entrance of the forest.

Pine Forest 2
Situated near the Moir Point, the Pine Forest 2 does not remain crowded like Pine Forest 1. Vendors are usually hard to spot in this forest. Also, some horse riding options are available here which is why this place appears much more attractive than Pine Forest 1.

The forest remains well-connected by roads from Kodaikanal. One can easily hire a cab or drive a private vehicle to reach the place. The best way of reaching the Pine Forests is asking the locals for directions. You can also inquire at the reception desk of the hotel you're staying at, and they will tell you the exact route to follow.
