Popokvil Waterfalls Significance

Popokvil translates to swirling clouds, due to its beautiful appearance amidst the mists that surround the Waterfalls when the water levels are high during the rainy season. The Waterfall is two-tiered, wherein the first level, streams of water hit the stones from 15 meters height before reaching a small pond like area.

There is another layer of Waterfall 18 meters high, below this pond, which leads to the bottom, from where the views are beautiful. The shallow pond area in between the two layers is best for swimming when the water levels recede.
