Awana Skyway, Genting Highlands Overview
Awana SkyWay is a scenic gondola cable car system in Genting Highlands, Malaysia, connecting the Awana Station to the peak of Genting. It gives panoramic views over the rainforest, mountains, and the vibrant Genting resort area. The SkyWay features modern cabins with glass floors, providing a unique and thrilling experience as passengers soar above lush landscapes.
Promising highest level of convenience and luxury, the gondolas connect 3 stations- Awana, Chin Wee and SkyAvenue, and takes just 10 minutes to reach the SkyAvenue from Awana. There are 2 types of gondolas available. The standard gondola has a capacity of up to 10 persons and the glass-floored gondola can accommodate 6 persons.

How to Reach Awana SkyWay
The Awana Bus Terminal, which is the boarding station of the cable car, houses an 8-storey car park as well.
Bus: From KL Sentral, there is the availability of Genting Express Bus Service which is available on the lower ground floor of the building.
Train: One can board the KLIA Express from KLIA/KLIA2 which terminated at the KL Sentral. From there, one can either drive or take the bus to the Awana Bus Terminal.
Need to Know
- The ticket counters are located at the Awana Station (Level 4, Awana SkyWay building) and SkyAvenue Station (Level 4, SkyAvenue).
- One can disembark at Chin Wee, enjoy the glorious views and the Chin Swee Caves Temple, and then continue journey to the peak or back to the SkyWay at no extra cost.
