Mount Srd Cable Car, Dubrovnik Overview
The Mount Srd Cable Car offers stunning views of the crystal clear and gorgeously blue Adriatic Sea, the vibrant old city of Dubrovnik and other islands that dot the sea. On a clear day, one can view as far as 60 km from the top spot, where lies the Imperial Fortress built during the 19th century.
The Mount Srd Cable Car was the first cable car in the Adriatic region. The Dubrovnik cable car area also has other facilities, such as a snack bar where one can have a meal or drink, a souvenir shop and the Ohrid pearl shop to get something reminiscent of your wonderful time there. Located at the upper cable car station, the Panorama Restaurant offers scrumptious Mediterranean delicacies alongside the magnificent view of the Adriatic Sea and the city. It was built way back in 1969.
Must Know Before You Visit Mount Srd Cable Car
Other important objective information : 1. Passengers should stand in a way which allows the cabin to maintain a vertical position.
2. Children (up to 12 years old) should be in their stroller supervised by an adult. If a child stands, an adult should support the child.
3. There are no pets allowed in the cable car. Also smoking, eating and drinking are prohibited in the cable car cabin.
4. The cable car is Wifi enabled.
