There are some potholes from asansol Chittaranjan road to Deoghar but much better than the road that goes into Tarapith

To reach Deoghar, Jharkhand from Burdwan (Bardhaman), West Bengal, you can get on a train to Jasidih Junction. From Jasidih Junction there are plenty of buses and trains to reach Deoghar.

I have the feedback that road status till Asansol is perfect however from Asansol to deoghar its drivable. After Asansol there are two tracks. Avoid the suri-dumka route. Prefer the chittaranjan jag (Read More)dishpur route.
