Copenhagen Zoo, Copenhagen Overview

Known as one of the best zoos in Europe, Copenhagen Zoo is a magnificent zoological park surrounded by both Sondermarken and Frederiksberg Gardens. The zoo, sprawling over an area of 11 hectares, has seven exhibitions: from the tropical zoo and Children's zoo to the exotic Nordic show and the Arctic Ring arena, providing more than 4,000 fascinating animals to watch and learn about.

There are many fascinating animals to spot, including California sea lions, turkey vultures, lions, flamingos, black-capped squirrel monkeys, Dalmatian pelicans, and many more. Zoos like Copenhagen Zoo are famous for their animal collections and architectural wonders, such as sculptures of panda habitats, elephant houses, hippopotamus houses, walls painted with Arctic Ring designs, and more. In addition, you can devour some French cuisine at Bistro Panpan, savour Asian cuisine at Panda House, and satisfy your sweet tooth at Cakes and Dreams, all located within the zoo. Also dotted throughout the zoo are street vendors selling Danish food, ice cream, and souvenirs.
