Beginning from Bir, the Raj Gundha Trek is a 14-km challenging trek set in Kangra region’s Raj Gundha valley.
Taking trekkers up to an altitude of 9,200 feet from where they can marvel at the majestic snow-clad Dhauladhar ranges and the green valleys, the trail passes through Barot village and forests and runs close to a river. The greenery and the chance to encounter leopards, jackals and bears make for an exciting nature watching experience. Alpine camps are set up at the Raj Gundha campsite and trekkers get to enjoy meals in front of a bonfire while enjoying calm music and the cool winds.

How to reach : The trek begins from Bir, about 4km from the Bir Bus Stand, and the site can be reached in 2-5 minutes (400m) from Bir via car/cab (fares vary) or on foot.
