To escape the chaos of cities and stay in the lap of Mother Nature, I traveled to Binsar, a small beautiful village in the Uttrakhand. I stayed at the Khali Estate-the Mountain Resort. The best part (Read More)was that I got to stay in huts amidst the glittering pine woods, and with snow-capped mountains overlooking, the place could only be described as paradise. Since it is situated at a very high altitude, the nights get very chilly, hence I would recommend woolens and proper supply of tea or coffee to keep you warm. Keep plenty of moisturizers to avoid dryness.

Binsar is an ideal getaway. I stayed at Club Mahindra property and it was delightful as they organise various activities. I took a trek in the morning and the place was filled with verdant trees and (Read More)snowy mountains. I spoke to the locals to learn about their culture. Except this there is nothing more to do, making it a perfect relaxing destination.
