Acropolis museum is an archaeological museum which contains the artifacts found in Acropolis.
Opened in 2009 for the public, it contains over 4000 objects starting from the Greek Bronze Age and up to Byzantine Greece. It lies over the ruins of Roman and Byzantine Athens. Earlier, the museum was in Acropolis but after finding more objects to be displayed, the museum was shifted from its original place.
