Agra once served as the capital of the Mughal Empire, so it’s not surprising that it houses several structures built in the Islamic style of architecture. The most notable of these is undoubtedly the magnificent Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built in ivory-white marble. Built by Shah Jahan for his wife, Mumtaz Mahal, it stands as a testament of eternal love and Mughal architecture.

Other Mughal attractions to not miss out on during your trip to Agra include the red sandstone Agra Fort, constructed by emperor Akhbar that was once the abode of the Mughals, and Chini ka Rauza, a funerary monument. In addition, Mehtab Bagh is a beautiful green garden overlooking the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and river Yamuna, while Anguri Bagh within Khas Mahal used to be a relaxing space for Shah Jahan.

Delhi is India’s capital and is frequently visited for its attractions like India Gate, Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, Red Fort, Agrasen ki Baoli and Lodhi Garden. Holidify offers you a plethora of Agra tour packages that are customisable and affordable, sure to provide you and your friends or family with memories of a lifetime.

Local Expert Guides: Tour packages typically provide the services of knowledgeable local guides. These guides offer valuable insights into the history, architecture, and cultural significance of the monuments. They can share fascinating stories and provide lesser-known facts, enhancing your overall experience. Customized Itineraries: Agra Holiday packages can be tailored to suit your preferences and interests. Whether you want to focus solely on Agra's historical monuments or explore nearby attractions like Fatehpur Sikri, a tour operator can design an itinerary that aligns with your specific interests and available time.

By purchasing an Agra tour package, you can benefit from skip-the-line access, local expert guides, stress-free transportation, safety and security, and customized itineraries.
